Mary Ellen Wagner There is one, which is easily skippable because it is only a few paragraphs, but it was totally unnecessary and added nothing to the book.

I thought Jamie’s mother was a witch. How come she didn’t succumb to “the curse” and die after birth leaving him an orphan like the others? Primrose knew of her, and Jamie had older brothers. Was she a second wife to his Dad?
