Rosen has YA writing experience and this book doesn't venture too far from that base. There's a lot of "meat on the bones" - aka stuff to talk about with a high school audience. The genre is atypical of what I would expect to be handed as a high schooler, and I love that. Rosen's writing is superb. The characters are compelling. It would be fun to play a round of Clue boardgame at this high school book club meeting!(less)
