I think the Amazon review must have referred to an inadequately proofread OCR version of a 19th century original that Amazon was offering, along with the legitimate print edition, as a much less expensive Kindle edition. Amazon should stop confusing the editions it offers. Don't buy a Kindle edition that, when you click on it, has a different cover than the print edition. If you want a reliable electronic edition of any old, out-of-copyright book, download a PDF version from an academic library for free. If the book is an important one, like Rural Hours, make sure you're not getting a bowdlerized edition but the full text in its final full-text version. Librarians can help you with this. (less)
