Can you guess what single real-world politician Stephen King mentions over and over during the course of the book ? People who say he talks about current events in all his books need to explain why Donald Trump is the only real person he mentions over and over and over in the book. All of the other politicians are fictional. I am NOT a Trump supporter. I'm a supporter of not hounding one person in every book.

Gemma I shall say no. The reason for this is that I didn't know this book was a part of a trilogy until I finished it and came here to write about it. You c…moreI shall say no. The reason for this is that I didn't know this book was a part of a trilogy until I finished it and came here to write about it. You can read this book easily without reading the other two. Everything you need to know for this story is described in the book. I certainly never felt I had missed something.

I have ordered the other two from the library now though.(less)

Most of those references were in the past,---when her father lived there for a short time, a deputy remembering something from the past. I am not saying that Derry was completely cleaned of evil since the Low Men in the Long Yellow Coats show up on the video of her husband's death.(less)

Who has written a tirade about Trump disguised a the final Button box? holy cow King is absolutely obsessed with Trump. His name is mentioned every other page..enough already, we know you don't like Trump. This obsession is on it's way to madness and is very distasteful. I don't want to read about your endless hatred, I want to read a book about Gwendy.
Elizabeth I just finished the book and Trump was only mentioned a handful of times. Each was appropriate since Gwendy has a career in politics.
