It certainl…moreI just read the 3rd book in the series, "Elizabeth's Wolf,' because I am a sucker for books where one of the characters has a little girl. It certainly seemed to read like a standalone. There seems to be some background as to what 'breeds' actually are, but it was recapped briefly and clearly throughout the book. I did not feel like I missed anything. Now I am going to go back and start reading book 1, 'Tempting the Beast.'(less)
