Is Xochitl now a common first name in Latin culture? I know it was originally from the Mexican/Aztec/Nahuatl goddess meaning flower. Just an aside, my first Spanish teacher (age 14) was from Puerto Rico (1957). From her tales, I always wanted to visit PR and now I am too old and infirm. But I have visited much of Latin America from Mexico to Cape Horn. Through this book and Wikipedia, I feel like I have now visited

Even though she knows and loves her brother and he had originally had good intentions, he was still truly “just like the other politicians”. There are very few congressman that get “exposed” even when people are aware they are voting based on wishes of their donors.(less)
