Clark It stops at the Obama administration. There is no mention of the Trump/Clinton race.

My 11-year-old son is interested in history, and I remember loving this book when I read it before he was born. Is the writing to "adult" for a kid to enjoy?

My copy is strictly text -- no pictures, maps, and the like -- and I don't know think he has done anything since the original to add that. On the other hand, the book is broken up into bite-sized chunks (about 2 pages) on a topic. On the third hand, Davis talks about more grown-up considerations like party politics, and not the stuff a teen or tween likes (or at least, like I liked at that age) like how people lived and how wars were fought.(less)
