They are rebelling against "woke" culture and diversity and everything they *think Kathleen Kennedy stands for. (Like who do that think made sure the Mandalorian got that excessive budget?!?!)

It's sad, because while there is this vibrant hopeful sense of wonder like things presented in a lot of Arthurian Legends, it's also contrasted by some pretty dark and Gothic stuff, that comes off even more Gothic than those elements seem during the course of The Skywalker Saga, because the contrast is much more pronounced! While Marchion Ro gave me some serious Byronic Hero vibes that intrigued me and creeped me out in Light of the Jedi, Into the Dark felt more balanced and reminded me a great deal of Bram Stoker (Something like Jewel of the Seven Stars), which I thought was kind of neat!(less)
