One question that went through my mind as I was reading this book, is why a woman would write or put her name to something like this. I don't know what it is like to co-write a book with James Patterson, and how much of it is JP and how much is the cowriter, Maxine Paetro. But why would a woman write or put her name on a book like this?

I am halfway through the audio and it is god-awful. If the graphic raping and killing of women isn't enough, the women being doormats is even worse. ("What are you doing with that big butcher knife?") Is this the same guy who writes the Women's Murder Club with four strong heroines? All these women are coddled and protected by men. (less)
