Can I have a list of characters? She mentions so many grandparents. Who is Grandpa Brian, and who is Grandpa William? How many husbands did Scarlet have? I am so confused. On page 175 so no spoilers.

Where the + represents a marriage. So Scarlett is the great-grandmother, William is the grandfather, and Ava is the mother to Georgia. Everyone in brackets is biologically related to Scarlett and Jameson. I believe Grandpa Brian was Scarlett's second husband, with no biological relation to any of the characters. (less)

I'm not a fan of romance novels but the dual timeline and the WWII story sound intriguing and I'm tempted to give this a try. Can you convince someone who doesn't like romance novels to read this book?
