The majority of the characters are college age. The plot is simple and explores issues like peer pressure, love, loyalty and friendship. It takes place during a war but there are no overly gruesome descriptions of battle. Romance is chaste. (less)

Anyone else who was not satisfied with the ending of this book?

It was tied up with a bow but with some questions. Now Shao will reincarnate again and not love Sparrow yet again? Or is Sparrow truly gone now? I was hoping Shao would really change and really do some good that challenged and satisfied his soul and maybe break the chain of comfortable tedium he has endured lifetime after lifetime.(less)
