I am reading that book right now. Reached page 400 and since page 200, I ask myself if I will persist into a story where nothing happens. How long will it take for Mary to see through grotesque and worthless Duvall? One can't find much sympathy for a victim that is laugh at openly and who asks for more of the same. Enough is enough. I will give that book to my local bookshop.
