If anyon…moreI spent two hours this afternoon finishing it while my poor dogs stared at me because it was such a beautiful day..that's how riveting it is. If anyone hasn't read her 'One True Thing' yet, it will make you do the same thing.
Her stories are so unique, apart from so many others. They address so many of the things in life that are often not written about, often disturbing.
I appreciate the way that the sometimes sexual aspects are treated so well..implied, so that you understand, but not graphically explained.

Was anyone else really disturbed by the ending? //spoiler// I realize that it may be more realistic, but thinking about Robert in that situation was very concerning to me even though this is fiction. I can't stop thinking about what he's growing up to learn. //spoiler//
