Mostly they're the result of genetic recombination followed by a massive eco-collapse that gave all the species-survival dice a good shake.(less)

Does the "Could Of" thing ever stop? This usage makes me grind my teeth (I realize it is becoming generally accepted) and Koli seems to like to insert it into every thought. I'm not sure I can read a book with this on every page, just a personal tic.
