Another little girl led trilogy? Seems like this would have been a good time to introduce maybe an adult male to this universe to mix it up a bit. But I'm sure I will read it and love it. How are the cast of characters?

Is it necessary to read the book of the ancestor trilogy before reading this?

Kpmop I've just finished Girl and the Stars and there's a callback to a character from the first two trilogies (& also in Holy Sister). Of course it could all be a massive coincidence (but I don't think so)!

I don't think you need to have read the other books but it adds background and a little mystery.

If you like GatS then it's worth reading the book of the ancestor trilogy while you wait for book 2.(less)

I haven't read any Lawrence books yet. So, are all of his trilogies related or only some of them? If the latter, can you also please indicate which trilogies are part of the same universe and what would be the recommended reading order? Thank you!

As far as I am aware, his Impossible Times trilogy is unrelated to this series.
