So I'm about 25% into the story and it's starting to lose me. Please tell me does it get better? I was hooked at the beginning and loved all the descriptions but now I'm wondering if things are going to move forward in the plot? Should I keep going? Give up? Thank you!

Henry is a pathetic dumb man child and Addie is a 300 year old teenager who apparently has not grown at all in all of her 300 years. So many people love this book.. WHY???(less)
