At 16, many teenagers would be facing the issues in this book for themselves. Alcohol, sexual assault, rape and the US Justice system. Teenagers, both boys and girls should look at these issues and maybe the more aware they are about them, the less these will be “issues” in the future. This raw account illuminates the reality, which we shouldn’t shelter our teens from. Brock was 19 when he committed this crime. Perhaps if he had been better educated, more aware, he wouldn’t have thought what he did was okay. (less)
