Did the author research Islam? I began reading the book when I realized that Zafir is a Muslim Pakistani and I don't want to read the book if the author is going to make the Muslims commit sins (drink alcohol, eat pork, have premarital sex, a Muslim male being with a female who's not a Muslim, Christian, or Jewish, etc.). I mean no disrespect to the author, I just want to make sure this doesn't disrespect my religion.
