I downloaded a sample, but after going through the first 10 pages showing only the characters in this book, I got cold feet. I know many of those are famous people, and I like the effort of the writer to add a section just about the characters for when the reader's lost. But isn't the sheer number of characters in this book a bit too much for a forgetful reader?

The book only has a handful of major characters, but the others appear in passing, and so I provided a memory aid to help you when one of the minor characters pops up later in the narrative. ;)(less)
