Am I the only person who had a problem with the lack of punctuation (quotation marks) with the speakers? I found the conversations hard to follow.

i am 16 years old and i would love to read this book but my mom said that there is a lot of graphic rape and violent scenes. she said she is trying to protect me but im positive i could handle it. Any thoughts??
