Is the first chapter of The Orphan Collector really 126 pages?? That seems like a long first chapter since the novel's supposedly 400 pages. Is this true or is this an error? When reading a sample from my library's ebook collection of this says 85 pages or so. Thanks!!
Jamie Reno The first chapter of this book is 42 pages. This is among the finest historical novels I have ever read. And it is scarily timely. Brilliant writing.
