There is violence, child abuse, near-rape, tragic loss, and profanity. I wouldn't suggest it for middle school, but a savvy or less-sensitive high schooler shouldn't have any trouble with it. (less)

Anyways, the film was still entertaining and I would have loved to see more. I wouldn't mind a rebooted version that sticks close to the canon as presented in the books though.(less)
