I went from book 7 to book 26 and I'm confused. How can she still have the same dog and the same hamster? Isn't it 20 years later? Also, how can her grandma still be in her 70's? Especially if she's 56 which she says early in the book. (I'm only on page 92). Is this one of those series where the characters don't age? I'm fine with that, I just wasn't expecting it.

I stopped reading the series when it became clear she wasn't writing them anymore. I think I got to 18? I'm not sure. Has she decided on a boyfriend yet?
