What's going on with this book? I thought it was released in October, then shortly after when I went to get it, Amazon said it didn't release until January? Now when I look it says currently unavailable with no date. I want to buy a copy and can't figure this out! :(

Is anyone else baffled by the title? I can see a vague connection between the Asian American characters, the fact that the fall cookie is mentioned once, but not much else. Why lead the readers to believe this is about mooncakes? I don't get it.

Mooncakes are a symbol of fr…moreThere is also a traditional connection between werewolves and the moon, so I think the title is referencing that as well. Mooncakes are a symbol of friends and family surrounding the Mid-Autumn festival and this entire book is about the community of friends and family for the two main characters so I think it fits really well. The title definitely doesn't give any indication for the other elements of the plot though. (less)
