They just touch on different charac…moreI've only read Suspicious Minds so far, but I don't think you have to since they're in different segments of time. They just touch on different characters - Suspicious Minds for Terry Ives (pre Jane) and Dr. Brenner & Kali (Number 008). Whereas, Darkness of the Edge of Town all about Hopper who already has El at this point.(less)

Olivia Sequel in the sense that it's the next "official book" in the Stranger Things novel series, but I don't believe you need to read Suspicious Minds. I j…moreSequel in the sense that it's the next "official book" in the Stranger Things novel series, but I don't believe you need to read Suspicious Minds. I just finished Suspicious Minds, but these two books are about different characters in a different time, so I think you're okay to read this one first if you want.(less)
