The book focuses on everyday things, often in public situations. I think if the boys are well read, it would be fine for them to read. Although there are a few references to drugs and drug use and one chapter of the book in which he talks very openly about using methamphetemine, and I think he talks about using coke as well.(less)
Alicia There are a few sections in which Sedaris covers things that happened during his childhood, but it is mainly about him from his college years onwards.
