For those who have read it already, do you think this would be OK for a fairly mature (and high reading level) 10-year-old? (Closer to 11.) He's fascinated with the Alien franchise, but hasn't seen any of the movies yet, and I'm thinking this would be a good entry point, because he LOVES to read.

(Nothing says Easter like Aliens, am I right?) I think it's fine for a reader who's not too fazed by literary alien/fantasy violence and knows what they're getting into. I'm expecting some "ewwwws" at the romance/kissing parts (because, 10), but I think he's going to be intrigued at the working of the colony and into the action.(less)
