Can someone help? Goodreads lists this books publication date as November 2018, but every place else I have looked including Amazon, B&N and Baker and Taylor does not have it coming out until June of 2019. I am a librarian, and I buy books so I need to know the correct pub date. Thanks in advance for any help!

I need someone (Horowitz??) to explain whether this is based on an actual detective...that he thanks in the acknowledgements, along with a coterie of the other key players in the book? I'm sure the names have been changed, but is the idea that this is actually a lived experience?

Not certain, but I think that most of the acknowledgements are part of the effort to make it appear like non-fiction. Part of the fun is sorting out what is real and what is fiction.(less)
