The current work is, by the way, incorrectly titled and blurbed by the publisher. As Dozois's "Preface" states. it is a follow-up to his other collections, including The Best of the Best (2005), with this one covering the years 2003–17, so not "35 years of the best science fiction" as its title page proclaims.(less)
