In any case, Chandra is brilliant, and actually has three major cultural influences (America, England, and South India) as well as his life's work in economics, so of course his analysis of politics is going to be complex. There is no simple left vs. right, capitalist vs. socialist, liberal vs. conservative; there are no labels that fit real people, especially people who actually think for themselves.(less)
