They either are passive, resigned and damaged like many of the slaves. They have an ongoing, "never give up" attitude like Heron, Elpis, Blaise, Artamesia, or they try to endear themselves to their captors - make themselves indispensable, such as Ion. Jyst a thought! ☺(less)
