Dorcas Yes unlike the other books written by Cindy Anstey this is probably the most gory. I was able to read it and I am in my mid teens. I think it was fine…moreYes unlike the other books written by Cindy Anstey this is probably the most gory. I was able to read it and I am in my mid teens. I think it was fine--I really like mystery and crime. But yes, there is murder and violence. I think it's probably also my favorite because the plot is very interesting and complicated. If you are looking for a short and fast read this is not the one. Which is why so many people like it.(less)
