Do I need to read the previous books in this series to understand this book? Because from what I understand, the previous books are male/female romance, and this book is male/male romance, and not everyone who is interested in male/male romance is also interested in male/female romance.

Holly Bryant-Simpson Nope! There are 1 or 2 scenes that reference characters/events in earlier books in the series, but the story is a standalone.
