Do you need knowledge of the prior series to enjoy this book? I just happened to pick up this book because the premise looked interesting, not knowing that it was part of an ongoing series.

Debbie T Krueger is pretty good about filling you in on the important things you need to know, so you could read this book alone. But I started this series wit…moreKrueger is pretty good about filling you in on the important things you need to know, so you could read this book alone. But I started this series with the very first book--Boundary Lake?--and read the whole thing in order. It's really better that way because you get to really know the characters and experience all that they've been through to get where they are today.(less)
