On the subject of Irrelevancy - as a senior I am feeling somewhat irrelevant, and it got me wondering if, as Christians, we are irrelevant - or perceived as such, by the un-saved world? We have made choices to separate ourselves from many of the world's interests - in music, film, entertainment, hobbies. How do we keep up to date without compromising those values and be seen as more relevant to the world?

I think that the same principle can apply where relevancy is concerned. To be relevant does not mean that we agree, it means that we understand the world well enough that we know how we can speak the truth in love in a manner that the world can hear it and understand how it applies to them.
