Ok, selected by men's study group. I read the first chapter. Be aware I am a progressive Christian, with a mix of other concepts, attitudes and experience. I am also mid-sixties age. Book appears to me to be far right wing, fundamentalist and literalist bible approach? Not my thing. Any comments?

I'm not sure I would go as far to say that the book itself is right wing but the other two assessments are pretty fair.(less)
