Would you recommend this book for a book club? I'm the newest member and it's my turn to pick. I've noticed the two books that everyone in the group enjoyed are southern literature (Gone With the Wind and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil), so I'm trying to find something in that genre. Thanks!

This is a ery powerful novel and I think that a good degree of maturity is required to fully understand its implications(less)
