There also is some implied violence towards the run-away…moreWell it is a book about the American Civil War and the War is a key element of the storyline. There also is some implied violence towards the run-away slave girl. It was not gratuitous. There was no language, I could remember. As for sex, there were two rather chaste kisses. There is a rather vague implication at the end of the book that the engaged & married characters made love. (less)

Emilee Cunningham This book was published as a paperback in 2019, and I think they have several editions now that are paperbacks. Hope this helps!

I read a bit of it in the back of one of your books but when I try to order it it is not the same it starts with a union solder being shot and left for dead and being found by a confederate solder who left him some water then his wife tries to find him when will I be able to read the rest of it? regards Sandra
