Helen Hoang I envisioned the heroine as Caucasion, but the hero is mixed race. The next book features a mixed race heroine, and an Asian hero.

The sex scenes are really well written, better written, in my opinion, than just about any others I've read. Normally, I skip over the graphic parts, but in this book, I devoured every word. Can't wait for her next book.

For me it’s overwhelming to meet lots of new people at once, loud noises and when many people talk at the same time. I have trouble not saying what I think as soon as it pops into my head and potentially offending people. When I’m overwhelmed I snap and can be really rude. I love being alone and don’t like being around strangers like the club scene. If I am in love I suddenly have no problem with the SO being around a lot and not having as much time for myself because it feels exactly like alone time to me. At least in the beginning. I hate sex without romantic feelings but am also exactly like Stella once I like someone romantically. People usually don’t want to wait for me to open up though. I didn’t have many friends and had to „learn“ how to behave in social situations, to try and fit in a lot more but at the same time I don’t see my differences as symptoms or wrong. They could be a hurdle for me though especially in University. Don’t know if that helps or not. But that this book is own voices is a good hint if it’s good rep (of one manifestation of autism) or not in my opinion :)(less)
