Was that the ending you guys were hoping for?. It totally took me by surprise and left me with so many questions that I feel I need another book ?? Anybody with me on this

How come everyone starts their review by writing a summary of the book first? This is Goodreads! We know what the book is about, it's the first thing you see when you open this page. I have to skip all those reviews and I know so many others feel the same way. It's redundancy and it's a waste of time.

I admit I mainly write them so I can remember what I thought of a book! (So I am my main reader) Some people are keeping track of what they read and not necessarily addressing everyone on Goodreads. So they write a blurb to remember what stood out for them and for them that happens to be the plot. I suppose they also feel that their summary of the plot offers something the publisher's blurb doesn't? I don't think it's waste of time for that person and for certain readers. (less)
