I was not a fan of the hate u give because I felt it was kind of racist towards white people and the vocabulary was a bit difficult for me since my first language is not english (for example, saying 'thang' instead of 'thing'). Besides that, I thought Starr was a bit childish at times. Do you think I would enjoy this book?

Molly Yep, that was about Khalil. I didn't catch any more direct references to The Hate U Give other than it being set in the same city (Garden Heights) and…moreYep, that was about Khalil.
