Had the best time reading THE KILLDEER CONNECTION right up to the "almost end" when the pages simply stopped turning! Please someone, tell me the very ending ....There was obviously a glitch to my download. Will someone help me out? Fascinating novel. Learned a great deal about the horrors of fracking and a lot about a character who downgrades his abilities but shows good detective work. Thanks for helping.

Why did the son not have issues after being so close to the smoke at the explosion when the other first responded died? Just not enough smoke that close? Seems David would have thought that when he heard about his son when he was arrested. Either ways great book.
