Great question, Rachel. So sorry that I only saw it now.

"Deadly Dossier" is a parallel view–Jack's—on Donna Stone's life, starting with the events that took her husband, Carl, out of her life, and leading up to Jack Craig's pairing with her for the mission that allows them both to avenge the Quorum for Carl's disappearance. If fleshes out what Donna didn't know about Carl, and for that matter, Jack. It also shows the role Jack had in her life prior to her ever meeting him.

Frankly, it is one of my favorite books in the series. I wrote it after Book 7 ("Hollywood Scream Play") but because Amazon won't allow prequels to be labeled "0" or even ".5" I had to place it at the very end of the current book in the series, which is why it is now #15 in what are currently 16 "Housewife Assassin" novels. It can also be found bundled with Books 1 and 2 in the "Killer 3-Book Set A for Assassin." Other readers have noted that some of the characters in the other books also appear in "Deadly Dossier," —again, even prior to when Donna knew their intricate roles in her life. I so enjoyed writing this book and getting into Jack's head. I hope you enjoy it as well. —Josie Brown(less)
