Okay, I can't get it out of my mind. As much as I'm loving reading this, I need to know what happens to transgender people? Did I miss anything? If not, how could King just ignore the topic relating to transgender in a book that's all about gender?

Is this book ore horror or suspense mystery? I have never read a Stephen King book I know he does horror just want to know before i spend money I don't have.

If you're looking to read King, start with Salem's Lot, The Shining, Christine, or Pet Sematary if you're looking for horror.

If you want things a little more grounded, but still with supernatural elements, try The Green Mile or Firestarter (one of my favorites).

If you like the long, epic stories, The Stand is excellent. So is 11-22-63, but it does have time travel in it.

If you like straight crime novels, Mr. Mercedes is great.

Don't judge King by Sleeping Beauties. The book is far too long for the story, and tends to ramble a bit down irrelevant paths. (less)

So many unanswered questions in this novel it is driving me crazy! First for me...early on Lila find a secret room in her and Clint's house that he was supposedly keeping a secret from her. After 700 pages this was never explained as to what this was...what was in this room, why was it brought up early and never explained, and why was it brought up at all?
