Unanswered Questions (1)

In 'Edge', there's mention of Adam & Meredith "getting it on" at least once sometime in the past. Having read the whole Cincinnati series again to bring myself up to speed on the characters and situations, I could find no record of this momentous event; though I recall there's a passing mention of it (and of Adam's therapeutic crayon work), in one of the earlier books. Anybody have further guidance?
