I mean I don't know what you like to read and all
But this book is awesome!
I don't know if you gave it a chance,...
But when I saw it on the shelf at the bookstore
I just had had had to buy it..
And once I bought it..
I read it in the car..
Kept reading it when I got home..
Was still reading and skipped dinner for it..
Still read till my eyes got puffy from squinting in the dark..
This book is a page turner...
So you should really give it a try!(less)

Any thoughts on the portrayal of the female characters in this series? Is there more than one (Molly)? Thanks.

Karen Molly is the main female character. Her governess is a very minimal character, but is not portrayed very well - she chooses to socialize with very que…moreMolly is the main female character. Her governess is a very minimal character, but is not portrayed very well - she chooses to socialize with very questionable male characters, and is not very bright. ..

Molly, on the other hand is intelligent, capable, discerning, and very loyal. She is brave, creative, and amazingly wise beyond her years... And super annoyed by her governess. (less)

Is this a "clean" book? I recognize we all have different tastes and I'm fine with that and not trying to "judge" anyone. But for me, I prefer to avoid reading: - large amounts of foul language - graphic violence - sex scenes or strong sexual innuendo. For reference, Brandon Sanderson's books are at about the right level for me in terms of "cleanliness". I'd really appreciate anyone giving me a quick rating. Thanks!

But I completely missed that after reading the book several times, it was only when someone pointed it out that I realized it. Of course, when I first read the book, I was only eight, so you might catch on to it quicker. Hope this helps.(less)
