My grand-daughter is in 6th grade but, despite the fact that she enjoys reading and is a "solid" reader for her age, she has never read a Nancy Drew Mystery. It appears that she is at the upper limit of the "recommended" age for N. Drew books. Would giving her a N. Drew book as a gift risk being a turn off to reading ?
