Son of No One, DragonBane, and DragonMark continue the story and prominently feature the Dragons including Max and his brothers. (Don't want to spoil anything) But I think the confusion is that these were originally classified as hell-hunter/hell-chaser series but still in the Dark Hunter universe and series (similar to the Were-Hunter and Dream-Hunters)(less)

The story features the relationship between Falcyn and Medea and does wrap up their love story. However I wouldn't recommend it because it does also feature a lot of world-building, lore and other characters. The risk is you'll get lost within all the terminology and all the past references and characters.

If you don't feel like reading all the Dark-Hunter books I would at least recommend that you read the other dragon books in this little triology within the series. Starting with Dragonbane, then Dragonmark and lastly this one (Dragonsworn).(less)
