I haven't started this book yet, but I recently bought it and I'm curious, without using any spoilers, why is this book rated so lowly?

People don't want to invest that much energy into a so called "horror" novel. It's well worth reading it. it's challenging but takes you on a journey like no other book.(less)

Why didn't she ever stand up? Bring your knees in, sit on your knees, stand up, hands would be waist length. Takes the weight off her arms and shoulders, gives her back a rest, and gives her the ability to explore things with her legs. She kind of hints at hopping over the headboard but it would tear her arm out of the socket, I don't think it would unless you do it like she was going to and back flip over it.
