Ive read the first Shannara Trilogy and some after that but havent read any of the newer stuff. Could i jump into this series and still follow whats going on?

Maria Rose As stated in the other questions similar to yours, Terry Brooks writes his tales in a set of novels with plenty of references to past books in the who…moreAs stated in the other questions similar to yours, Terry Brooks writes his tales in a set of novels with plenty of references to past books in the whole series, so you can read this quartet of books for the Fall of Shannara without having read the rest, but that's like eating just the pepperoni on a pizza--you get the taste but not the full satisfaction. He does have other series of books that follow a different storyline, plus he's going to start a brand new series.(less)
